Customer Safety Notice

DIVING WILL ONLY BE PERMITTED AT THE DEEP END 2M. DIVING
MUST NOT TAKE PLACE ALONG THE SIDES OF THE POOL.

Minimum unaccompanied age : -

Children under 5 should ideally be accompanied on a 1:1 basis by a
responsible adult (adult is deemed to be 16 years or over).

Children under 8 should be accompanied in the pool by an adult regardless
of their swimming ability. One adult may accompany up to 2 children under 8.

No child under 10 is allowed in the pool unless accompanied by an adult
either in the water or on the poolside throughout.

Children under 7 are only allowed in the opposite sex changing room if
accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Persons responsible for children should be reminded of their duty to remain
in full eye contact of their child at all times during the visit to the pool.
If for any reason a child must be left for a short while, they must make
temporary arrangements to the satisfaction of the lifeguard.

Children should wear suitable attire i.e. briefs/full swimming costume
In addition, babies and young children who wear nappies should wear
protective pants.

It is recommended that ALL children wear a swimming cap.
Jewellery must not be worn in the pool.
Food and drink are not permitted on the poolside.
Swimmers must not chew gum etc. whilst swimming.
Hygiene - Swimmers must shower prior to entering the pool hall.
Glass bottles must not be taken into the changing rooms.

Any medical conditions should be reported to the child's swimming teacher
at the start of the first lesson.
