Car Parking

Car Parking from 3rd January 2012

Following your feedback on the Car Parking Policy at the new Sports Centre we have listened to your opinions and changed the policy based on some of your suggestions. A summary of the changes follows, but a full copy of the policy can be downloaded here.

Sports Centre Car Park

• 2 hours free parking (maximum stay 2 hours).
• No return within 1 hour.
• Spaces available on a first come first served basis.
• A ticket from the machine must be displayed.

Sports Field Car Park

• 2 hours free parking, thereafter £1 for each additional hour Mon-Fri 8am-6pm.
• A ticket from the machine must be displayed.

Please Note:

• Parking permits & scratchcards do not apply on the Sports Centre Car Park.
• Occasionally there may be events taking place where the car parks are restricted.
• Vehicles failing to comply with these rules or parked in a dangerous or restricted area will be clamped with a £75 removal charge, no warning notice will be given before clamping.
• A meeting has been arranged with Lancaster City Council to discuss longer term arrangements for additional parking near the Sports Centre for 2012.
